Specification of TDS Meter Tester Hanna Instruments HI 98301 HI98301

TDS Meters are: Tools for measuring particles of dissolved solids in drinking water that are not visible to the eye.
TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids. Every drinking water always contains dissolved particles that are not visible to the eye,
can be solid particles (such as metal content for example: Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Manganese etc.)
and non-solid particles such as micro organisms etc. One way to measure it is to use a device called a TDS meter.
This tool can measure how many solids are dissolved in ppm (mg / L) shown in the form of digital numbers on the display.
The way this tool works is by dipping it into the water to be measured (approximately 5cm depth) and automatically working tools measure.
At the first time the digits shown by the display are still immersed, wait approximately 2 to 3 minutes until the digital numbers are stable.
This TDS meter is used as a check tool for water purity and mineral content which is ideal for all water purification applications such as checking refill drinking water, reverse osmosis water, piped water, distilled water, battery water, groundwater, regulation wastewater, hard water, cultivation hydroponics, and colloidal silver. The features of this digital lab tds meter are as follows:
- Very efficient and accurate because it uses a microprocessor.
- HOLD function: to save measurements, to read and record.
- Fumption Auto-off: the meter closes automatically after 10 minutes of not using it to save battery.
- Measurement range: 0-9990 ppm. From 0-999 ppm, resolution in increments of 1ppm. From 1000-9990 ppm, resolution in increments of 10ppm, indicated by flashing images ‘x10 '.
- Built-in digital thermometer
- Large display and easy to read LCD screen.
- Manufacturer calibration: Our tool is calibrated with 342 ppm NaCl solution. The meter can be recalibrated with a mini screwdriver.
